Star's unique ability, to service a wide variety of other manufacturers servo valves, enables customers, to direct all their repairs for assessment to one central location for an unmatched fast turnaround professional service. The standard of repair returns units to a condition where they mirror the original manufacturers performance or they can be upgraded to higher specifications if needed by the end customer. Alternatively, valves can be returned to Star's International Service Partner Network where in many, service facilities are also available.
All of Star's repaired servo valves are covered by a full warranty of twelve months. (All parts are fully guaranteed as part of our repair warranty ) In the event that customers need replacement valves, which are directly interchangeable, then a wide variety of upgraded replacement valves are available. These valves can mirror the original valves performance or they can be re-engineered to incorporate Star's Sapphire Technology™, which greatly extends the life of the valve beyond the expectation on many of our customers. |
We offer free evaluation and a written report on repairs detailing the reasons for failure along with any parts that may be required. All stages of a valve are completely stripped so as to reduce the risk of failure through contaminants. Our service charge includes the replacement of all filters, seals and gaskets. Turnaround is normally 10 working days from acceptance of our written quote and we are also able to provide a priority service for breakdown situations.

Star's reputation for a fast and professional service has progressed year on year on the basis that service repair is always extremely important requirement for the User-market. It is certainly not Star's philosophy that the Servovalve users destiny, remains in their own hands, especially where costly inventories have to be maintained in the event that breakdowns occur. Star's approach has always been to operate a “Fast Track Repair Service” available to our customer's when needed. True Customer Care & Support Star's policy is to be open with technical information and support and not restrictive. We are also able to supply spare parts for our own valves and other manufactures where appropriate. Records & Trace-ability All records are maintained of all units repaired and tested. All materials used have full trace-ability. Customers are always welcome to view our comprehensive and informative system as part of their own quality procedures. |
