Many of our customers have experienced measurable life time gains with Star Servo Valves incorporating “Sapphire Feedback Wires” hence the reason that many of them now actually specify Star Servo Valves on their new systems as their historic problems and costs with “Ball Glitch” has been totally eradicated.

Many test facilities within British Aerospace Systems have been upgraded and retrofitted with Star Servo Valves for the purpose of extending life and at the same time maintaining performance. A real cost saving for them.

Within the last few years a major OEM within the Aerospace Market has employed a Star servo valve for a dynamic test and even after 50 Million Cycles no "Ball Glitch" has occured. The valve was recently returned by the customer for inspection whilst the machine was refurbished. The valve was found to be in an excellent condition and was returned to the customer to continue it's work and to date the valve has completed:-
